We treated ourselves for our Golden Wedding and it was a holiday to remember. We enjoyed our stay in Brig and spent a relaxing day there rather than taking the excursion to Lake Geneva. The Matterhorn proved to be illusive due to swirling cloud but the ride on the Gornergrat cog railway was very exhilarating. The Glacier express was a wonderful way to travel towards our hotel in Klosters. The Silvretta Park Hotel was ideal and in a perfect location. We made good use of our free cable car passes which could also be used on local trains and buses. The journey aboard the Bernina Express to Tirano in Italy was a highlight.
Our tour manager Steffanie had an infectious love of natural history and drew attention to the amazing beauty at every turn.
(I dont know whether Steffanie had managed this tour before but she did seem a little unsure about arrangements at times but her good humour always shone through.)

Price Includes
The price of this holiday is per person based on two people sharing a twin room. Single rooms are subject to availability at the relevant supplement. The price includes return scheduled flights; seven nights in four-star accommodation with breakfast and dinner; return transfers; all touring as mentioned; all airport and local accommodation taxes and the services of an experienced Riviera Travel tour manager
Included excursions are: train journey from Tasch to Zermatt, standard class journeys on the Glacier Express, Centovalli railway and Bernina Express, Borromean island boat cruise and visits to Montreux, Zermatt, Locarno, Lake Maggiore and Stresa.
Please note that in Switzerland twin beds are often one bed base with two mattresses and individual bed linen.
