India & Nepal Tour
We must echo the sentiments of previous reviewers - we were on the same tour as Richard and his wife Ros!
Gill was a great Tour Manager - sorting out any problems quite nonchalantly it seemed to us. We arrived four days prior to joining the official tour in Delhi and this helped us to overcome jet lag etc. Taxis were arranged for us by the hotel each day so we could explore, with our friends, New Delhi on our own.
Nepal is open for business and absolutely desperate for tourists. Half of the hotel in Pokhara was shut because visitors were staying away. The Nepalese people are so warm and friendly and really need your support. The children need paper and pencils so be sure to take these.
We had so many amazing experiences - things we could not have arranged ourselves. Flight up to Everest on a glorious day, sunset and sunrise at the Taj Mahal, Varanasi, sunrise over the Annapurnas, Chitwan National Park and riding on elephants whilst viewing rhino from a safe distance, crocodile farm, burning of the bodies on the Ganges - all amazing experiences.
Do go, you will not be disappointed. Food and hotels good. Coach journeys long but fascinating - I managed to walk thirteen miles according to my pedometer one day, all without leaving my coach seat!
As well as Gill, we had the services of local tour managers and the stories and information they provided was fascinating.
The whole group jelled and we all had a most memorable time - “thank you” Gill and Riviera!

Bruges Tour
I had wanted to visit Bruges for sometime and my partner booked this as a surprise. Eurostar is a much more civilised way to travel than flying and our tour guide Phillipa (aka Shirley) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and good humoured. We stayed in Martin’s hotel which is well located and comfortable. It even has it’s own bespoke room fragrance! There is a great choice of food for breakfast and the barman was very friendly the only criticism is that there are no snacks available during the day. The highlight was the trip to Ypres, Phillipa gave us a great deal of background information and it is only by going there and seeing it all that you can appreciate the scale of it all. We can’t wait to go again!

Bruges Tour
Great trip to Bruges. Lovely place and day in Ypres was sobering. In the sorry absence of Gladys and Freda (!) Kay and Ingrid were truly wonderful escorts. Friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel was fine and all the organisation went smoothly - even when leaving on the Saturday morning after the night before’s Paris atrocities.

India & Nepal Tour
This has to be one of the most vivid and interesting holidays we have had. From the noise and bustle of Varanasi to the laid back air of Chitwan it was experience after experience. The attention to detail and organisation of the trip was first class and Kevin, our guide, ensured we got the most of each aspect. If you want to get a flavour of India and Nepal then this is the trip for you. Like us, you will then probably want to return for a longer and more leisurely experience of both countries.

South Africa Tour
What a fabulous time we had, a perfect Itinerary was matched by our perfect Guides Diane and Lawrence.
They were very informative and knowledgeable keeping our interest on the longer drives. A thoroughly well organised tour every stop went perfect. In addition to all that we saw ALL the BIG Five, also the Leopard, Hyenas & Wild Dogs, the whole experience surpassed our expectations. We have already recommended this tour to all our friends and wish to thank Riviera once again for a well organised and breathtaking tour. Oh almost forgot, all the accommodation absolutely superb and coach extremely comfortable with plenty of stop offs. Just Perfect in every way.
