Calgary – the three-star superior Delta Bow Valley Hotel (www.deltahotels.com) is located in downtown Calgary. The hotel has an indoor pool, Jacuzzi and fitness area, whilst dining choices include a main dining room and bar as well as a Starbucks coffee shop. The comfortable rooms are all air-conditioned, with en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, flat screen cable TV, wireless internet (extra charge), fridge, iron/iron board, tea/coffee-maker and great views of the city skyline.
Banff – the three-star superior Banff Park Lodge (www.banffparklodge.com), located in a quiet spot less than a 5 minute stroll from the centre. The hotel has spacious lounge, an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and fitness area, as well as the Chinook all-day restaurant and the Terrace dining room for a more formal evening venue. The 211 comfortable rooms are all air-conditioned, with en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, cable TV, wireless internet (extra charge), iron/iron board, safe, fridge, coffee-maker and patio or balcony.

Vancouver – the three-star superior Coal Coast Harbour Hotel (www.coasthotels.com) is located just steps away from Vancouver’s excellent waterfront promenade and a few minutes’ walk from Robson Street, one of the city’s main shopping streets. The hotel boasts a heated outdoor pool, fitness area and a restaurant. The 220 well-appointed and contemporary styled rooms are air-conditioned, with en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, flat screen cable TV, free wireless internet, iPod dock, writing desk, safe, iron/iron board and tea/coffee-maker.
Alaska Cruise - MS Nieuw Amsterdam
The Holland America Line Vista-class ship, launched in 2010, the 2106 passenger MS Nieuw Amsterdam has more outside ocean view staterooms and verandas than most other ships in Alaska. The Promenade deck goes right around the ship with plenty of classic teak deck chairs, whilst its stunning eight deck atrium and spacious public rooms are adorned with a wide variety of art and antiques. Dining options include the Vista dining room, serving five-course meals with impeccable service. A more intimate option are the Pinnacle Grill (US$29 pp supplement), which features sterling-silver beef served on top of the range china and linens, The Canaletto Italian Restaurant ($10pp Supplement) and the Pan-Asian Tamarind Restaurant ($20pp Supplement). The informal Lido restaurant has free seating and buffet-style service for lunch and breakfast and waiter service for dinner. You may also enjoy daily afternoon tea, complimentary hot hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour and late night snacks. There is also the chance to go to the B.B. King’s Blues Club, a vibrant blues musical experience. There
are two formal evenings when gentlemen are requested to wear a jacket and tie. The spacious, elegantly-appointed staterooms all feature complimentary 24-hour room service, fresh fruit daily and flatpanel TV’s. The Deluxe Verandah staterooms are particularly popular and early bookings are recommended. The price of this holiday is per person, based on two people sharing a room and includes: flights to Calgary, returning from Vancouver; seven nights on room-only basis, staying in superior three-star hotels (medium class in Kamloops, arranged directly by the Rocky Mountaineer); guided visits to Lake Louise, Peyto Lake and the Athabasca Glacier and ride on Snocoach; two breakfasts and lunches, selected drinks and staff gratuities on Rocky Mountaineer train; tour of Vancouver; all transfers and hotel porterage of one item of luggage per person; the services of a Riviera Travel tour manager; single rooms are subject to availability at the relevant supplement.
Alaska Cruise: Your cruise includes seven nights in an inside K-category cabin with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner; transfers on return to Vancouver and all port taxes. Numerous other cabin categories are available at a supplement. Cruise itinerary is subject to change depending on weather conditions. On-board currency is the US dollar.
